The convention, to be held May 23-26, 2013, is organized in close collaboration with "Comicpalooza" (they'll be right next to each other in the George R. Brown Convention Center so attendees can easily cross over between both events).

Shuttle Service
Need to get from the Airport to "Emissaries: Galacticon 3"? There's a new shuttle service to and from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and the George R. Brown Convention Center available! Houston METRO will be running a shuttle service to and from George Bush Intercontinental Airport Terminal C and a handful of hotels downtown during "Emissaries: Galacticon 3". One-way trips require 45 minutes and cost just $4.50. Service operates every 30 minutes, every day, between the hours of 4:50 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.
The route will make stops the Hilton Americas Hotel / George Brown Convention Center, the Four Seasons Hotel, the Downtown Hyatt Hotel and the METRO Rail Main St. Square Station / Marriott Courtyard. Bush Interncontinental Airport Info
George Bush Interncontinental Airport: Our city's largest airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), joined the Houston Airport System in June 1969. Bush Intercontinental is located approximately 23 miles north of downtown Houston, near the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8 North).
Hobby Airport Info
William H. Hobby Airport: Our city's second largest airport, Hobby Airport (HOU), has now been serving the Houston community for more than 60 years. Hobby Airport is located approximately seven miles south of downtown Houston, near I-45/Gulf Freeway, the major highway heading from the City to NASA and Galveston Island.
